Stiamo procedendo un po’ a spot, o meglio, un po’ come ci viene. We are randomly going on , or rather, a bit as we please. Recently, the coverage of the helical on the right has been started, creating a removable panel that also houses the Magnorail system (learn more).
We are now working on the construction of the landscape on the aforementioned panel, starting from the slopes and the retaining walls.
We shape the the wooden sides of the helical and the polystyrene on the external profile of the panel.
The slope along the road at the top of the panel needs containment. To do something different from the rest we opt for gabions for soil containment. We then 3D print blocks of about 80 mm length, painting them in dark gray and highlighting with “dry” white acrylic varnish.
After drying, we paint a common tulle with a gray spray. We then make strips with which we wrap the blocks.

Let’s now begin the construction of the road tunnel that will hide the Magnorail system loop, we are going to use 3mm closed-cell polistyrene (Forex) to build the portal. The arch crown bas-relief is engraved with sandpaper, then chiseled. Finally we apply the ledges.
We prepare the gallery tube with 1mm hot-folded forex that we are going to glue to the crown.
We glue the rear part of the tube to a counter-portal, then we make the left retaining wall with the same materials and technique.
We airbrush with acrylic sand tones varnish, then weather the model.
By using a station lamppost ceiling (our conception and realization in high definition 3D printing) we create the tunnel lighting using a cold white wired micro-LED.
The tunnel is ready for installation on the panel.
ILet’s start covering the ridges with paper and vinyl glue. At the same time we glue the forex pavement to the left side of the roadway.
IncWe glue the portal onto the panel, coat it with paper, then glue real sieved and sterilized soil fixed with Latex glue. The first part of the landscape is finished. As you can see from the image, the construction of the village inspired by Antria is already underway, but we will talk about this in the future.
